FastPaste does save your time. Paste frequently used text, formatted text and images with custom hotkeys! Makes it easy to enter frequently used text blocks signatures, e-mail addresses, Internet and IP addresses, logins or passwords, etc.
Pros: FastPaste saves you time. It lets you paste/ enter a character, a phrase or even a block of text into the document you are working on. Paste frequently used text, formatted text and images with custom hotkeys! They can be frequently used text blocks: signatures, e-mail addresses, Internet and IP addresses, logins or passwords, etc. RTF characters and images too. Up to 30 clips can be used per project and hotkeys can get a clip pasted. You can configure up to eight projects for fast loading using hotkey and toolbar buttons. Import/export text files, RTF files, images Paste formatted text (RTF), using various fonts and colors Paste images, PNG format is supported Apply various image effects to your images.
FastPaste is able to do edit on the clipboard contents. Changing case to lower, upper, proper, sentence case or even reverse case and even funny ZiG zAg case, reverse it and remove diacritics. Total clean-up of clipboard is possible too. It can get current time or date from the system tray. Image effects are available too. FastPaste can run from the system tray in minimized form at start up. Rich set of configurations and global hotkeys makes the functionality quite rich. In short here’s a range of things you could do with this application paste email address, pass login user name & password, fill in forms, repeat commonly used scripts/ code snippets, store various templates.
Cons: It’d be difficult to remember all the hotkeys where there can be up to 30 of them. If you use more than one project in a day it is worse. Linking the clips to mnemonics would make it easier to remember. Whenever there are large number of clips it is going to be difficult to use.
Overall: This one is a 3 star item.
